Great value for the price. Has two tube stations near and a lot of restaurants and stores so it's very convenient.

Athena is near Paddington Station and is close by edgware road. It was convenient for good kebab and middle east delicacy.

For the price, the Athena was a big disappointment. A big factor was there was no working lift. While our room was on the fourth floor (8 flight of stairs with luggage) we were changed to only two. Buyer beware, we were told by the receptionist that we should have done more research on London hotels-her words, not ours! Not the most welcoming comment to make after a long flight. Other staff members were accommodating and pleasant.

We loved the family room as it was spacious enough for our family of 5 compared to other London hotels we have stayed. The room and toilet were very clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff were friendly and we were allocated parking space as requested at GBP15 per day. The location is excellent, near to paddington station and many eateries.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Elevator inoperable and I had a heavy bag … I was on the 4 th floor. Staff helped with my luggage.

The staff was nice, check-in/check-out was easy. Clean. However, the room was extremely small and the walls were very thin. Also, the elevator wasn't working. I guess I should've expected this for the price. You get what you pay for in London.

Great for families, bathroom updated, rooms small but clean. Beds weren’t comfortable and pillow extremely flat. Elevator not working so the stairs with luggage was difficult
