Our room was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast featured lots of variety and nutritious options as well as good coffee and tea all served up in a bright, pleasant breakast room. Staff members encountered were pleasant and always accessible. When I reported a problem with the room safe, it was fixed immediately. This hotel is good value for money in London. All said, I have one minor cavil about this hotel and others I have stayed at in UK and Europe: I wish they would provide face cloths to guests.

Great location and nice breakfast! Several decent restaurants in the local area. It was quite warm in London during our visit and the AC was not working in your room! Convenient to the bus/Coach terminal to take us to Heathrow Airport! I would recommend the hotel to others!

A perfect location. Authentic English hotel. I'm glad it wasn't a generic cookie cutter boring hotel. Very good breakfast buffet. We were in a triple. It was a nice bathroom, but we would have liked another towel rack and a shelf for toiletries.

If you're only staying for a couple of days, this hotel is OK. Location is excellent, steps away from good restaurants, buses and Victoria Station. The hotel room itself is small, especially the bathroom/toilet. There isn't even room for a simple towel bar. Whole place needs updating. Carpet is old and, in some places, torn. Stairs are narrow, steps are short. No elevators here. If you have any mobility issues, request a room on a lower floor. Staff are great. Very polite and helpful.

Although the room and hotel itself were clean, appealing, and was in a great location, the mattress that was on the bed in our room was something that I wouldn't give to a thrift store if I was getting rid of it myself. After 2 nights, I definitely wouldn't be able to do another night. Terribly achy back....flying home that day, was the worst flight home ever. We pulled back all the bedclothes before we left and checked the mattress, to see squished and flattened areas. Not fit to sleep on.
