I booked this hotel because it was the best value I could get at a very busy time in cologne due to the Trade Fair, Photokina, being on. I had initially wanted a place to stay nearer the trade fair but as it turned out I picked a great hotel. It was only 15 minutes by train to the fair so no big deal and the hotel was above my expectations in comfort and value. A lovely little hotel with very helpful and friendly staff, rooms were quite basic but very clean and a decent breakfast.
We were at a trade fair in Cologne which was very easy to get too as the train station was a 5 minute walk from the hotel and only 3 stops away...very easy and with plenty of restaurants and bars near by would certainly recommend this hotel

We had a fabulous time at this stunning property. The staff were extremely friendly, there was a large breakfast buffet, a welcome pack with goodies for every visitor. The was a piano and a funny parrot. Views across the river. We highly recommend staying here
