"For anyone that is in town for an event at Southern Methodist University (SMU), the Bush Presidential Library and Museum on campus at SMU, or looking for a reasonable hotel option in the Dallas area; this hotel is an ideal location. This hotel is within a reasonable walking distance (20 - 25 minutes with luggage) from a DART metro stop (and multiple bus stops) that connects directly with SMU, the airport, and the Amtrak train station. It is also within walking distance of a wide variety of stores, food, and entertainment. For those driving to Dallas, this hotel does provide parking albeit with a fee. However, you can save money by preparing your meals at your hotel room as there is a fully equipped kitchenette (i.e. kitchen utensils and cutlery) with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and mini freezer. Additional perks here include a workout room, pool, and complimentary breakfast every morning. Although the staff is young, they are very professional and welcoming. Treat yourself right and stay here in town as you will get the most bang for your buck without breaking the bank."
