"The location of the hotel is lovely, there is a free shuttle service from the carpark which is helpful. The rooms are dated and in need of updating - some aspects of the room appear to not have been updated for a long time and show lots of visible signs of wear. some of the staff were lovely - one of our shuttle drivers was excellent and gave us more information about the hotel than the front desk staff. we spent two evenings in the bar and unfortunately the atmosphere was not great. Several staff members were off shift and became very drunk. It made it feel like we were interrupting a private evening. It made us cut our evening short which was a shame as the food and drinks were really nice. Upon checking out we were struggling up some snowy and icy steps with our luggage and a staff member also walked past and didn’t bother helping. We’ve had better stays in cheaper hotels that offer MUCH better value for money. "

"Very clean and cozy cabins, it was a great place to stay for the night and we will be back. The fireplace was premade and easy to use and you were able to go over to the main lodge for food and drinks and/or to play a board game. You were also able to bring board games back to your cabin with you. Only thing missing was that I wish every cabin had a shower, but honestly wasn’t a big deal. It was about a 25 minute drive to Banff."
