"Great location, very convenient, helpful & friendly staff, good price for what you get for the 1-bdrm apartment with kitchen. The property is definitely older and would benefit from some upgrades, maintenance and a deep cleaning in the room, but it had everything needed for a comfortable stay at a really good price in Canmore. The property offers a good, value-priced stay for those looking for basic amenities and comforts in a fantastic, walkable location on the edge of town. I'd definitely stay here again. "

"Overall the rooms are fine and the staff was helpful. We found it noisy, perhaps due to our location right above the lobby. Breakfast was basic but fine."

"We stayed two nights, five people. The pull out couch was not comfortable. We had to ask for bedding for the pull out. The room was clean no complaints there. We also had to ask for more towels. Five people need five towels, five washcloths and five hand towels. The breakfast was very good, coffee was excellent! The only complaint is that it was shut down at ten. Take out containers should be provided in my opinion since not everyone wants to eat shoulder to shoulder with complete strangers and it was crowded. The kids enjoyed the pool and water slide and again, no towels to be found anywhere even though we asked at pool side and at the front. Overall it was a nice place to stay. "

"We love Buffalo Mountain Lodge for its peaceful location. The rooms are very comfortable and we love the fireplace. The Prow restaurant serves excellent food, the steak is delicious. "

"The room we were given was above the garage door and unfortunately this was noisy. We did ask to move when we discovered this. However the only rooon type available was $500 a night more. And this was not an option. This was discussed at checkout. And the manager was quick to apologise and compensate "
