"Facility is such an breath of fresh air it’s beautiful and welcoming. Rooms are immaculate perfect size. Water pressure and warmth to perfection and use of pool was amazing. Breakfast was just the right portion and delicious just to start the day. Location was perfect not on the lake but 4-5 blocks from the main plaza. I will highly recommended it to my family and friends back home."

"The place is absolutely amazing, it is truly like staying in a tree house.. the staff is super friendly, you have kayaks available and the excursions on the lagoon and great. If you can, do get the rooms with the lagoon view, the sunrise from between the foliage gets reflected on the water and it’s truly magical, i’m definitely coming back"

"Honestly a beautiful resort, but pool floors definitely need deep cleaning and FUMIGATION of rooms and resort should be a priority as it’s infested with mosquitos and rooms/beds have non stop bugs/pests falling from ceiling. Staff were super courteous and location was extremely convenient. Would be a perfect resort if management considers fumigations."

"Incredible experience, breathtaking lagoon, the view is truly beautiful, crystal clear water, like waking up in paradise. The property is very pretty, full or art everywhere, my room was super cozy, the bed super comfortable. The staff very nice and friendly, even the PDF they sent was well designed, no ai slop! These people put a lot of heart in what they do and it shows.
Omg, the breakfast! Ahhh they deliver to your room in a very cute basket and it’s delicious and whole, me and my partner had a great time and this hotel was the best choice in town, unbelievable! We loved it and we will be back."

"Recommend Hotel Taparendo very highly. Fransisco was there all the time. Breakfast was good and on late. Coffee was good. Roof top pool and lounging areas, sunny and shaded, were good with baños nearby. We had the “quad” room which was one single, and 2 doubles. The other rooms all had at least one double bed. AC worked.

"This hotel is gorgeous and very comfortable and serene. It's in a great locations very close to the Zocalo and the lagoon. The concierge team was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The restaurant on site had great drinks but I think the food could be improved as it left little to be desired in terms of options. I do have a severe shellfish allergy and they were VERY on top of that which I appreciated. You do not have your own fridge or TV in the room if that matters to you. They also don't provide body wash, which I found odd, but other than that I would absolutely stay here again. It was absolutely lovely and the many pools were a godsend with the heat as they keep them cool."
