"Everything was great but the room we stayed in had no electrical plug in the bathroom for hair dryer or curling iron. Other than that staff and facilities were great. Taxis were 70-80 pesos to go into central Bacalar. "

Only for a few minutes…. I grab my belongings and I left to rent another room some where else near by (Casa Arabe) I don’t understand how the City authorities allowed the hotel to operate under this circumstances…. I paid a lot for this hotel that is not worthed…. I don’t know how Expedia is willing to rent rooms for them….Extremely super UGLY property. Francisco Saldana"

"We loved our stay at BoaBoa. Our hut named "Colibri" was private and spacious with all the necessary amenities. We really appreciated the staff, who were helpful and proactive even prior to our visit. While on site, they communicated daily via WhatsApp to inquire about our needs and comfort. The property is on the outskirts of town and is best accessed with a vehicle and you can hear the highway from the property. We enjoyed being next to the lagoon: sunrises, swimming, and kayaking. We would definitely stay again!"

"Delicious breakfast with fruit, yogurt and granola with a choice of egg. The coffee was excellent. The view on the lagoon and the infrastructure was breathtaking. The room was clean and the design fit perfectly with the general vibe. I recommend staying at least two nights to truly enjoy the space in its entirety, something I regret not doing. If I come back to Bacalar, I will definitely stay here again."
