"The staff was amazing. Friendly, helpful, responsive. I would stay again because of the staff. The room was fine, clean, nothing special, but nothing wrong with it. It did not have a refrigerator (despite there being an obvious space for it in a cabinet) but you can "rent" one for a one time fee. The check in experience was...excruciating. You check in at a kiosk, fine. Except it wouldn't accept our payment. So, go stand in line for a person. And that took easily 20 minutes with only three people in front of us. The clerk, once we got to her, was amazing. We arrived in the morning and knew we wouldn't be able to get in right away, but she tried for us. No problem, we'd get a text when the room was ready. 3pm came and went. 4pm came and went. We checked the kiosk, which said the room was still being prepared. ???????? Stand in line again. Another 20 minutes, only to learn our room had been ready for 90 minutes. ???????? Whatever. Get to the room, settle in. Refrigerator arrives, the guy plugs it in, we put a couple of drinks in it, leave to get something to eat. Get back, refrigerator isn't cold. The dial to adjust the temperature is missing, so who knows what it was set at. Call the front desk, another refrigerator arrives and the guy said it was already cold, he had tested it (see what I mean about the staff!). Worked fine the rest of our stay. Luxor is an older property and it's starting to show in dings and dents and walls needing repainting, but there's bad about it."

"This is my third time staying here in the last 2 years. I really love this hotel. It’s kind of unfortunate that they do not have any sort of recognition for past guests though. Since I booked through Expedia they stuck me in the room with the worst view. Literally just the inside wall of the hotel. I get it, but also it would be nice to feel welcome after 3 stays like they have any sort of loyalty for their frequent guests. Maybe your name doesn’t get entered the same way through Expedia though I don’t know. Besides that though the room was still great, the linens are amazing, the rooms are quiet and clean and the property offers nice late night snack options which was perfect. I only had a one day layover to see a concert so it was nice to come back from the concert and get some food right at the hotel. They also offered me early check in at around noon which I appreciated, but I didn’t end up taking advantage of because I was out on the strip. They held my luggage though and were very helpful when I came back. I didn’t have to wait in a long line again to get the room key. Will stay again for sure. I will also suggest they change the Dunkin to a Starbucks it would literally be perfect then."
