Everything was great. We liked it was in a quiet area. There are lots of restaurants around - the ones just outside the property are OK, the ones down the road further are much better. Our favourite was "The White Orchid", about 10 minute walk away (turn left on the main road). The 7-11 has been ...
Beautiful hotel with good facilities and very attentive staff. Everyone does their best to make your holidays as relaxing as possible. Very big swimming pool and good SPA.
Beautiful hotel, stunning views, many restaurants by the beach you could just walk to. The room size was big with his and her sections and a huge bath tub. Was also provided with a beach bag. Staff were very helpful and always smiling. Only downfall was their brochure said there would be a shuttle ...
We had a great 2 week stay; lovely place, very clean and friendly. Wonderful beach to walk along and calm water for swimming. Good garden with plenty of trees, great for sitting in the shade when you want a break from the glorious sunshine! Nice pool in the garden was a bonus. Bamboo huts are great ...
The stay got off to a poor start when my airport pick up was 45 minutes late (it’s only a half hour trip to the resort so it is difficult to justify a delay of that length other than a completely lack of interest) There was no real apology or effort to understand why I might be upset about standing ...
Super friendly /helpful staff. Beautiful room/pool
One of the quieter beaches in Krabi, Khlong Muang Beach boasts a stunning long stretch of sandy beach that is lined with upscale resorts and hotels. It is an important place for Thais, as it is home to a Thai Royal residence, as well as being a popular destination for those with money to spend. Khlong Muang Beach is a tranquil resort with a modest charm, a place to relax and enjoy the beach and its surrounding natural scenery.Don’t Miss
Khlong Muang is actually made up of three beaches, with Khlong Muang Beach itself sitting in the centre. Many visitors spend at least a week here relaxing and being pampered.
The picturesque sunsets at the southernmost end of Laem Hang Nak are something out of a picture book. On the cliff just above this stretch is the Royal Residence towering over the sand. Khlong Muang Beach is the centre stretch of beach and the most built-up, offering numerous water activities, like kayaking, windsurfing, deep sea fishing and sailing.
Krabi itself is famed for its stunning natural beauty and wide range of excursions, and those that want to explore further away from Khlong Muang Beach should try these: snorkelling or scuba diving in the Andaman Sea, taking a longtail boat to visit the nearby islands, hiking in the national park that sits at the very north end of the beach (at Tubkaek Beach) or white water rafting.Restaurants and Bars
Eating and drinking is just as upscale as the resorts in the area, with the top restaurants being located inside the luxury resorts and hotels. There is also a selection of restaurants on the road leading out of the village where visitors can find Halal food and other local delights. On Fridays there is a market in the village where visitors may enjoy cheap fried and barbequed food. Bars are in the confines of the resort grounds, either in the lobby, at the pool or on the beachfront.Shopping
There is no shopping here other than a few gift shops in the upscale hotels. The Friday Klong Muang Market sells bargain items common to markets of its kind. You can also make the 15-minute journey over to Ao Nang for a much wider selection of shops in which to pick up souvenirs, handicrafts, clothing and other cheap items.
