"This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had. The room had a very strong moldy smell that was impossible to ignore and made it uncomfortable to stay in the room for long periods. For a hotel that markets itself as a 5-star property, this is completely unacceptable. Even more concerning was the cleanliness of the bathroom. The shower, bathtub, and toilet were visibly dirty and clearly had not been cleaned to an acceptable standard before our arrival. Hygiene is the most basic expectation in any hotel, and certainly in one claiming a 5-star rating. The overall condition of the hotel feels extremely outdated and poorly maintained. While this property may have deserved a 5-star rating many years ago, today it unfortunately does not even meet the standards of a typical 2-star hotel. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the cleanliness and maintenance issues urgently, because the current condition does not match the expectations set by the hotel’s advertised rating."

"The Deluxe Pool room was large and clean (our attendant was great) and the shower was really good. The AC only worked when you had the key in the slot (to turn on the electricity), so it would warm up when you were out, but cooled down fairly quickly. The pools were nice and the water was clean. "The staff were lovely and helpful, the hotel was spacious and modern. I booked this hotel in Ao Nang mostly for the pool, but was disappointed that it closed so early, so by the time we had been out exploring for the day, the pool was often closed. I also thought the area was a little more chaotic than I was hoping for being situated in a busy touristy area, but it was within walking distance to the beach and shops and restaurants if that's what you're looking for. The closest beach was not the nicest and pretty dirty, but they did have a fire show each night which was fun to watch."

"Hotel and staff were great. The road is noisy and there is a Muslim call to prayer that is amplified several times a day. They rent scooters onsite and the beach is a few minute scooter ride away. "

"This hotel has the potential to be a lovely experience, but due to years of neglect, the place feels unkempt. Elevator is out of order, and there is no bell boy to assist. This resort is very large and requires a lot of walking and stairs, which is inconvenient with luggage. Litter was not cleaned. The same garbage stayed for days at the bottom of the stairwell. The floors are clearly not swept often, and cleaned even less. The pool was alright, but about half of it has stagnant water which is also not cleaned of debris. The fountain in the pool area is also out of order, and the swim up bar is not in order and is actually crumbling. Room service is also lacking. We had to ask for fresh towels and coffee cups, as these were not provided upon room ‘cleaning’. Our door to our room was somewhat broken, as the latch didn’t function. It had to be locked to close. Our bathroom door simply didn’t close at all, so hopefully if you’re staying here you are VERY close with your roommate. Staff were also generally unfriendly and unhelpful, but did the bare minimum. Overall, we were displeased with our stay given the price, but the location is good. Hotel should consider employing staff to care for the surrounding area as well, as there is garbage everywhere. "
