"Hotel and staff were great. The road is noisy and there is a Muslim call to prayer that is amplified several times a day. They rent scooters onsite and the beach is a few minute scooter ride away. "

"Clean room with AC and mini-fridge. Two water bottles provided daily. Very kind front desk staff. They let us store luggage after check out! Breakfast every day for $1 extra a day. Breakfast included mango yogurt parfaits, thai curry with rice and fried eggs. Massage parlor next door, didn’t go because it was a bit pricy. But there is a 7-11 about 7 minute walk and night market about 8 minute walk. Lots of restaurants and roti a few minutes away. I would definitely stay here again!! "

"We stayed here for 5 nights and had a really great stay, we were a bit nervous after reading some reviews about noise level, but it was pretty quiet for the most part but YMMV. The A/C unit took a bit to get to the sweet spot and the building was a bit dinged up in spots, but the staff even with limited English was very sweet and accommodating. If location and price are two of the big checkmarks for you than I think Salty Sand is a good choice. If potential noise and partying isn’t for you...

Hotel is in a nice area with plenty of restaurants around and a short walk to the Main Street and pool. Happy hour cocktails were the best I had in any venue around Ao Nang"

"Tolle Lage, in wenigen Minuten erreicht man den Strand. Sehr viele Geschäfte, Lebensmittelgeschäfte,Massage shops. Das appartements war sehr sauber. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder!!!!"

Personally loved the location being a bit further away from the business of Ao Nang but still within walking distance of Ao Nang beach and the Night Market as well as down the road from a 7-Eleven and also some great restaurants nearby! Would definitely recommend if spending 2-3 nights in Ao Nang and don't want to stay a little out of the thick of the action in Ao Nang!"
