"Here’s the deal, I think things are either 1 star or 5 star. I don’t think the stay deserved a 1 star, but it’s a huge stretch for a 5 star. The place definitely is nice for the price and you can tell people who have stayed have been rough on it. The communication with the property manager was good, they are quick to respond. Here’s the issue, they don’t have water continuously running, it needs to get pumped in, so for our 2.5 day stay, we ran out of water 3 times and needed them to pump water...

"We absolutely loved our stay at Himmapana villas. The villa was so well appointed- the pool was private and so lovely! We were celebrating a special occasion so took advantage of having their private chef come in & cook for us. Chef Lee created a wonderful meal for us. Shuttle to beach is so convenient. Highly recommend!"

"The villa is amazing and we had an overall good experience.The spa bath is still not in a working condition and was never communicated to us.The property is beautiful but not well kept,with dodgy electricity cables in the wardrobes,no usable outside barbeque.Poor communication from the property manager,did not reply to our emails apart from check out details.No clear instructions re garbage etc.If you do not plan to rent a car this property might not be the right choice.We did enjoy our stay and...

"Excellent property in a Kamala Beach area... overall, I would give 4.5 stars. Property was clean/new with good appliances, etc. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. It would be a definite 5 stars if it were located in more convenient place. Location: far up on the hill, and you'd need your own transportation to go anyway. "Das Appartment ist gross und modern, es hat einen grosszügigen und schönen Wohnraum mit offener Küche, 2 Schlafzimmer, jeweils mit angeschlossener Dusche/WC, zusätzlich gibt es eine 3. Toilette. Insgesamt 3 grosse TV (brauche ich im Urlaub zwar nicht...), Aussenanlage mit viel "Grün" und mit eigenem pool. "The house overlooks Kamala Beach and has amazing views. Each of the bedrooms are private suites separated by a staircase. We were 2 families with teenagers and young adults (12) so this layout worked for us, but would not work well for young families. Put the most athletic ones in the bottom suites! "The place wasn't ready when we checked in. The pool wasn't ready and not clean. The smell inside the house was horrible. The 4th bedroom upstairs was so dusty and smelly! Can't even been use. My nephew got cut on his foot with broken tile by the pool. "

"There's a lot of negative experience while staying there 1) There's no water supplied when we just moved in, we need to contact them and wait for them to send a water truck to refill the water tank. 2) Electricity has a free of charge quota. there will be additional charge once it hit over the quota. Although it has been stated down in the T&C, but the electricity meter was consuming almost 1 kwh per hour, a quota of 150kwh for 3 days is unreasonable low. "We stayed at 2 bedroom with private pool. The pool was nice, but we noticed that there were many dead insects floating in next morning, can only swim after the staff clean the pool. The hotel is really near to the beach, massage shops and beach restaurants. Location is generally far from all the famous attractions. Downside is that there is no 7-11 or proper grocery shop nearby. Not convenient to get anything. Really near to FantaSea but have to walk across main road which is not safe for family...
