"My mother and I stayed in the beach front cottage and it was amazing. The walk straight to the beach and the view in the morning made the stay worth it. I would recommend bringing snack for late night since the hotel restaurants closes at 10:30 and no room service after that as well. The pool is great and the petting zoo was fun."

"Huge resort with lots of swimming pools. Even though the main pool was closed in our visit there are lots of other options. The resort is mainly set up to cater for kids and families which I didn’t know when I booked. It didn’t bother us as the resort was very quiet when we visited, however as an older couple with no kids with us I would not recommend staying there in peak season unless you have a family or small children with you. The staff are lovely and always very polite and professional. The buffet breakfast was large with lots of options and catered for gluten free. The resort if right on the beach with is lovely and we swam there every day. It is also easy walking distance to local shops and restaurants. The night markets are close by and open 4 nights a week with great cheap food options. Overall lovely resort but would probably stay at the resort next door next time which is adults only"

"This resort is amazing with incredible sunset and ocean views. Stayed in large room with large spa on balcony. Everything perfect and very clean. Very quiet and relaxing stay. Breakfast by the pool offers something for everyone. The 2nd pool across the road at Sienna Rocks Cafe also stunning with great spa. Staff friendly and helpful. Short 10 minute walk to shops and beach. Highly recommend and will be back."

"The view is what makes the place along with the attentive staff. We had some ac issues within an hour of checking in and were moved to another villa quickly. I was disappointed a bit as it was 1 level lower and the view wasn't as good as the 1st one. The lounge chairs in my villa were pretty old and were not comfortable to use. Outside of that its a quiet pretty place to escape the city and lounge in your own private pool."

"I had a fantastic stay at Layalina Hotel and would highly recommend it. The room was spacious, beautifully designed and exceptionally comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Being able to step straight from my room into the pool was a real highlight. The hotel itself is in a perfect beachfront location, with Kamala Beach literally on your doorstep, making it easy to enjoy the sea, cafés and restaurants. The views are beautiful and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, always happy to assist with a smile. The amenities were excellent, the room was spotless, and everything was well maintained. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. A wonderful boutique hotel in an unbeatable location."
