I picked this hotel due to previous reviews and the closeness to some bars and istikal street and a train station. On arrival we were lucky enough to get the top duplex which suited is for the extra size. Check in was very friendly and efficient. The staff even offered to arrange a tour for us along bosphorus river was a nice touch. Complimentary water was also provided. If i return to Istanbul i will definitely look to stay at The Story Pera again.

Excellent hotel and staff. Location may not be ideal for less mobile due to steep approach path/ roads but otherwise totally recommended

We had a lovely welcoming stay at union hotel. Very convenient location and rooms with all the required amenities for a comfortable stay. We were greeted daily by the lovely staff who were always there to offer tea or coffee and see how we were doing. Special thanks to Mohammed, Mariam, Bilal, and Ali!

Very nice place, welcoming staff, perfect location. Located up the hill, for elderly they will need a car/transport. Overall, I would highly recommend.

value for money, i stayed there for 3 nights with my girl friend. the hotel was very modern decorated, good view , panorama restaurant and all other modern facilities. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the breakfast was great... the location is also in a very close proximity of the Taksim square in a very quiet area. Lovely room with big jacuzzi bath, nice terrace area but no views, choose a room with sea view if possible i saw one while it was being cleaned and the view was breathtaking, also choose a top floor, that room was on floor 6

This was my first time staying at GLK Hotel in Istanbul, and we had a wonderful experience. This hotel is a real find - two minutes walk from the heart of Istanbul's main sites in the old town, easy walking distance of all the bazaars and loads of restaurants and bars. Very nice hotel. Extremely well located, close to İstiklal street, Şişane metro station. Lots of eating places close by. Staff very helpful. I had chosen a superior room which was extremely spacious and comfortable. My only criticism would be that their breakfast was unremarkable. Having got used to other hotels having a widespread breakfast buffet, the breakfast at this hotel was quite sparse.

I had a great stay at the hotel, very conviently situated as it was near the main sites. The terrace restaurant had fantastic views of the surrounding areas. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Amiral Palace Hotel is a must for anybody visiting Istanbul. The Hotel is beautifully designed and well planned with every amenity we needed for our stay. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and within walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and many other tourist spots. Tram line is also very close by. Staff went the extra mile and were available 24hrs a day to help us with everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely use Fer again.
