We have stayed in Kaanapali about 3 times previously. We like the sandy beaches, the walkable boardwalk, the shopping close by, and especially like the consistent weather of this side of the island. This is also close to good shopping/restaurants.

Kaanapali sits on one of the best stretch of beaches in the World. It's location in West Maui places it far from the airport and other places of interest but the beauty of it is worth the drive.

Kaanapali area and beach are nice, but we had limited enjoyment due to time wasted waiting for repairs in the room and removal of outdoor furniture from the sitting area in the living room which was unusable. Appears no preperation to tidy was done.
