"Cleaning service was slow"

"My stay was a nightmare, not just due to a massive bug infestation after a storm, but because of the front desk’s dismissive and unprofessional attitude. On our first night, hundreds of bugs swarmed our entrance and bathroom. After I called, housekeeping came to vacuum. Housekeeping was kind and cleared the bugs, advising us to keep all lights off. We complied immediately. However, the swarm returned shortly after. I was forced to kill bugs and block the door gap with towels to block them from entering. The next morning, I requested a room change, showing photo evidence that while our door (near the elevator/vent where the bugs entered) was swarmed, others were clear. The front desk agreed to change but her response was unprofessional: 1. Gaslighting: The agent repeatedly insinuated it was my fault, questioning if I left lights on 2 times despite my assurances that we followed all instructions. 2. Absurd Deflections: When shown that other rooms were clean she claimed maybe other guests used bug repellent. It is the hotel’s responsibility, not the guests’, to manage pest control. My Not to mention I had already sprayed until I could barely breathe with no effect. 3. Rude Communication: When I explained the towel-blocking was unsustainable, she interrupted me with an impatient, insincere "sorry." 4. Lack of Transparency: No warning was given at check-in about the light/bug issue. We later discovered bugs were entering through a vent near the elevator directly next to our room."

"Good things: room was clean, check in was easy. BUT PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE We spent 2 nights here, and both nights I woke up suddenly because the REALLY loud noise from the toilet. On the first night I thought someone broke in the room and smashed the toilet! Turned out it’s just the neighbors using it and there’s no sound proof or whatever. The second night was even worse. We were assigned to a connected room and we can literally hear EVERYTHING the guests in the next room said, the music they listened to and dishes cling when they rinsed them. I called the front desk but they couldn’t do anything as the property was not managed by them. I had to talk to the guests in the next room and thankfully they were great people and tried their best to lower their volume. This shouldn’t happen if the room had ANY sound proofing "

"We really enjoyed staying here. All staff were friendly and the pools were clean and fresh towels were available all the time. We had a red eye flight back home and the hotel allowed us to stay on property until needed. We were provided access to showers and to dry our clothes in the guest lounge room. "

"Things we liked about this property: beach view, manager on site, safe, designated parking spot, nice location/ area, beach items ( chairs, umbrella, toys)available in unit Didn’t like: outdated, so it has an older smell to it and so are towels and linens in the linen cabinet. Inner coating in cabinets is chipping everywhere. Unit is well beat up. No central AC, just two floor units in bedrooms,so it gets hot and humid in the main area"

"Clean room, had beach equipment in the room, beach towels, boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, etc. Only single use laundry detergent was provided — had to buy more. Filters for Brita pitcher was there but no pitcher. Room had skylight windows which let in all sorts of noise. One day our neighbors had a birthday party that lasted until midnight. I had to call the office to get them to send security to have them stop since quiet hours was 10pm. But the ceiling windows let sound in everyday (birds, pool, neighbors, etc)"

"The unit was spotlessly clean — we're talking white-glove clean. Beds were freshly made, the place was immaculate, and every corner of the space felt genuinely cared for. It's clear the team takes real pride in the property. Speaking of the team — wow. Any question we had was answered quickly and warmly. They felt less like a property management company and more like locals who actually wanted us to have the best trip possible."

"This booking was just as explained. It is a great value and is in a great location. Only steps away for restaurants, stores and great beaches. We will be back!"
