"Everyone was very welcoming, helpful, alsways nice and friendly. The little market just off the lobby was fantastic. Great coffe. Yummy ice cream. Not too pricey either. Pool was awesome as well. Very clean rooms and nice views."

"It is always scary to choose a beach experience for the first time. Therefore, we really felt like we struck gold with The Ellie Resort. Beach view, cleanliness of room, food & drink options, helpfulness of staff, that magnificent pier — all exceeded our expectations. Only two suggestions: Free coffee in the lobby is a must for a hotel of this quality; and (traveling with a friend in a wheel chair), larger parking spaces that are better protected from the elements would be appreciated. With that said, however, we cannot wait to come back to Myrtle Beach, and, when we do, The Ellie will be our lodging choice! Jim Mitchell"
