"ok no complimentary water in the rooms no iron or ironing board considering the price you are paying in regards to breakfast i ordered pancakes and a coffee and was charged twenty pounds for 2 very dry pancakes and a small coffee so definitely not value for money."

"Everything you need, purposefully small but all bedroom essentials cleverly kept hidden/tucked away or hangers on display. Breakfast great, worth the money for convenience. Only issue was noise outside - sirens and music venue next door mean it’s not a peaceful evening but that’s to be expected for such a convenient location."

"Hotel’s location was excellent as it is very close to the train station and metro line. Note that we were assigned a room across the street from the reception office and that there are no lifts/elevators to assist if you are assigned an upper floor. Room was extremely small and the washroom was smaller than ones on cruise ships. Very limited space to open both of our carrryons and walk in the room without shifting a chair or closing a carryon. My wife and I are small individuals and we could not both fit in to use the sink in the washroom. The room got warm in the evening and we had to keep the window open to cool down the room. Luckily, we visited in early May as the room has no air conditioning. We did see a small portable fan sitting on top of the room’s safe located in the closet. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful ."

"We loved the location of this hotel, it was walking distance to theaters and many top restaurants. The staff were always helpful and friendly. However, it needs some serious maintenance work. The shower never drained right, the second day we had to turn off the water three times in the middle of showering to let the water drain so it wouldn’t run onto the floor. After they tried to fix it we only had to turn it off once during each shower. We had water leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom on three mornings. The first time it happened it was clear from stains on the ceiling that it was a recurring problem. So not sure we would recommend this hotel for those reasons."

"Room G04. If you enjoy the sound of the underground (not the song)then this room is for you. Unable to open the window. Probably a safety feature as people walked past. Room was warm but the Aircon was extremely noisy.In the bathroom you have the sound of everybodies waste from above rushing down the soil pipe. Shower was good and hot. Laminate floor was delaminated. The bed was extremely soft and every movement got us rolling together. I suppose for the price it was adequate and very handy for Kings Cross and St Pancras."

"We book a superior double and it was nothing like the pictures advertised. The room had a weird shape- double bed squeezed into an alcove & a single bed. A rack for hanging clothes and a table & chair. No carpets. You had to step over the bin between the bath and wall to get to the toilet. Definitely not superior, it made the Travelodge look luxurious. It was clean & convenient so one night was ok."
