"We stayed 5 nights at the Ezkar Bathonea Art Hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is peaceful and clean, and the staff were very helpful. They even upgraded our room due to some kitchen noise, giving us a more superior room at no extra charge. Breakfast had a good variety and was very enjoyable, although the restaurant is only open for breakfast. The location is great — there are lovely lakes and parks nearby, and it’s within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shops. The hotel is a bit far from the city centre, but the metro link is excellent (approximately 40 minutes). Ashan, the manager, was always joking and friendly, which added to the positive atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to return in the future."

"Room upgrade, amazing view, room comfort and cleanliness"

"I was booked for a week but I only stayed 2 nights and left after being moved through three unacceptable rooms. The first had no bathroom door handle and a TV bracket on the wall … with no TV. The second had visible black mould throughout the room. The third, on the fourth floor, had no shower door making the bathroom wet and slippy. Also a window that opened fully with no safety restraints, we were on the 4th floor. The bed in the room was uncomfortable, the bedsheets didn’t fit they kept popping off. The metal bed frame was very sharp on the corner it cut my partner’s leg open. Despite being told to come to reception at 12 both days for a new safe, clean room no move happened at this point I decided to book a new hotel out of pocket. I requested a refund for the 5 nights unstayed and got denied. This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in pure filth, unsafe and poorly maintained. "

"This place is a great value compared to other options you can book in İstanbul. The building is new, and our studio apartment was also new (I think all the rooms are), with everything clean and shiny. The owner and staff are very nice, polite, and always ready to help or answer your questions about İstanbul. At first, it looks like the property is far from the city, but it’s actually not that far. There’s a huge shopping mall just about 5-minute walk away. If you like to see local İstanbul (I mean local local) just pass the highway bridge across the Pelican mall and you will be in Cihangir, Avcilar with tons of local restaurants and cafes with very reasonable prices witch you will love. We didn’t have a car, but it was easy to get around İstanbul by taxi or bus. You can take a taxi (make sure to use the Bitaksi or Uber app) to the "Küçükçekmece metro" station, which is the closest one. It costs about 7–8 USD. From there İstanbul is yours, you can go anywhere in İstanbul."

I am writing this review to thank Kadir for one of the best services I have got in a hotel in my life, And I can say I travel quite a lot. He made my stay absolutely wonderful. Kadir, the hotel is very lucky to have you as their employee! There is no parking, although it was described as present, but it was easy to find a parking space nearby everyday at anytime of the day. The restaurant on the ground floor is very good, convenient and it has excellent service as well. "
