"Great location to beach, typical beachy motel "

"Enjoyed the property and great proximity to restaurants, mall, beach and downtown. Disappointed at check in experience. Asked for 3 favors… get a better room thank overlooking valet a driveway, honor the $35 resort credit that hotels.com had but I didn’t have attached to my room or discount the $60 per day valet charge as I was not leaving with car for entire stay. She said no to all asks and was not very nice about any of it. Seems she was having a tough day. We used the free beach bikes which was a great hotel perk but first one had a flat soon after leaving hotel and the other bikes where not in very good condition. The hostess at hotel restaurant was also not overly friendly during our Sunday brunch visit. So many great perks and opportunities at the hotel but the staff could use some better customer service training "

"I stayed for one night and checked out on February 16th 2026 at 9:30am. I told the lady at the front desk that the toilet is clogged and asked if I will be losing my deposit. She said no and will get someone to fix it. Her name starts with an A, she wears glasses and I think is Hispanic. I said great and gave her a Chinese New Years present.Over two weeks gone by and I didn't see my deposit come back into my bank account so I called and asked why I haven't received my deposit back yet. The lady answering the phone told me to wait to check. Then she tells me that it was because of the clogged toilet. Comfort Inn did not contact me by email or phone telling me that and I had to call to find out. The Hotel originally lied to me saying I would be getting my deposit back. I asked in the first place because if they said I would lose my deposit then I would of went to the store nearby like Target and buy a plunger for cheap come back and unclog it myself. It was 9:30am when I was at the front desk and check out was 11am so I had time to go down the street and come back and fix it. They should of just told me that it would come out of the deposit in the first place instead of lying and keeping my deposit. It was something that I could of fixed in less than 30 seconds. I told the lady at the front desk when I called that I will be putting in my review on Hotels.com, Google and Yelp and will take it down if I get my deposit back. "

"Beautiful hotel, great amenities and location "

"They do not allow check out past 12 noon and even that is hard to get. Even if you pay them for a late check out they will not accept it. The hotel was not full it was a Monday, I’m not sure why they have this inconvenient rule about late checkout. They said if past 12 noon they would charge for another night. The room also didn’t have a microwave. Sodas are $4.50 each in the vending machine. We go street-side so that was not very quiet either. Nice place if you get the ocean view side and are fine checking out at 11 am. "

"I booked a suite 12 days in advance but when I checked in, they told me the suites we're booked. I paid for a suite and was not given a suite."

"The ocean was visible from my room and there was a balcony it was so nice"
