"Rooms were not cleaned very well. Stains on sheets/pillows. No fitted sheets just two top sheets that slide everywhere and you wake up sleeping on gross mattress. Toilet in room barely flushed, fan broke, no fan in bathroom so was just a wet sticky area throughout the room/bathroom. Pools were fun and staff was nice, excursion was cancelled and made us pay way more for a different one that was cheaper online and could not book that way since we were using same tickets as old excursion. Food was okay, but did not know what 3/4 of it was as they did not have names for all of the food. 10/10 staff. 3/10 rooms. Food 6/10. "

"We had an ocean view and a corner room of the hotel. Absolutely beautiful rooms and very clean. The cleaning staff came in daily to stock the fridge and provide clean towels. Everyone was very helpful and kind, the service was excellent. The restaurants were also incredible for dinner and some were open for lunch. The buffet was always really well kept up with and had plenty of options"

While we preferred the adults only (Royal Bavaro) resort, the overall vibe of being surrounded by the beautiful Dominican nature, friendly staff and increadibly tasty cuisine they have to offer; truly made our stay unforgettable! Great value and the property is well maintained. Absolutely had a great time at Catalonia resorts."
