"Stayed for one night-a Friday night. Check-in was easy and was asked if we preferred a city or river view. Was given a city view on the 23rd floor, which was lovely. However, when we returned to our room around 9:30pm, a rooftop bar/restaurant had a dj playing very loud music that continued until approx 11pm. Did not bother us, was able to fall asleep, but keep in mind if offered a choice of river or city view. (Not sure if this was a regular occurrence or a special party) Special shout out to housekeeping—we had an event to go to and the rooms don’t have irons/ironing boards any longer—only steamers. Needless to say the steamer wasn’t helping a cotton shirt and when I asked a housekeeper down the hall, she called her manager and got one delivered to our room. Lifesaver!! Shower was amazing. Took Uber 5 different times and all the drivers were exceptional and friendly. Just be sure to request drop off at the hotel entrance-otherwise you will be dropped off at the casino entrance and you will have to walk through casino to find the hotel. Enjoyed and would stay again."

"Great for if you just want a night or 2 out in detroit, the walls are super thin so i wouldn’t recommend if ur a light sleeper or wanting someplace luxurious but it was great having on site parking and i appreciated the 24/7 staff"

"The young lady at the front desk was incredibly sweet and helpful. After bringing everything up to our room, (be prepared to walk up flights of stairs) we found the room quite dirty. My 11 year old was going to take the couch, my 2 older children each a bed and then a bed for my husband and I. The couch was so bad, not even layers upon layers of bedding in between him and the food and dead bugs in/under the cushions wouldn’t be doable. There was also standing water and hair in the sink. We kept a very cool head and went to ask if there was a clean room available, they didn’t have any way to accommodate us, but they said they would provide approval for a refund through the hotels app. I thanked the lady at the front desk for being understanding. We were so grateful there was an available room 6 minutes away."

"The staff is pleasant. AM Buzz is a solid choice for a quick breakfast. I do wish room service was an option but, my stay here was enjoyable. "
