You can hear everything from other rooms but the hotel was fantastic. Breakfast very delicious and staff very friendly.

Hotel itself was ok, rooms are little outdated , buffet was too crowded, area around the hotel is not very safe. Lots of homeless people, and not clean. Parking was easy but expensive $56 per night.

The location is real convenient if you were going to the wharf. Only a few blocks away. The parking structure within the hotel property is tight but nice it has its own parking. The room has very nice blackouts for the windows. I always wipe down the remotes and handles when I get into a room and I did not find one spec of dust.

So the RIU was a very modern property with lots of space and the rooms were well laid out and spacious, even better they were clean and the bed was very comfortably. The only down side was the parking, if you have a larger car (over 6ft in height) you cannot park in the car park attached. We have a Chevrolet Suburban and was two inches too high to get in. We were told that we would have to park in the car park opposite for $36 per night but with no in and out privileges. Whilst a minor inconvenience due to us wanting to use public transport to get around for those that are wanting to use the car everyday just be aware. Further to this the hotel parking is approx $60 per night but you can come and go. I’m still impressed with the hotel and the breakfast (although busy) so will recommend.
