"This is a very local non touristy village. We enjoyed the hospitality (even if we couldn’t communicate)
The owner helped accomadate my sea food allergy. We really liked the hot bath available in the beautiful water. The only thing I would say is that it isn’t close to anything and you have to walk about 22 minutes to the train "

"The staff at the front desk greeted us with such great hospitality. The room was sparkling clean, laundry was available and the hotel is a few minutes from at least 3 metro exits. Would go back anytime! "

"Wonderful breakfast buffet, with both Japanese and western options — highly appreciated the variety and freshness. Hotel staff are all friendly and helpful at all times. Room was very comfortable. AC seemed to not work last night, but otherwise fine. Shuttle to/from Kyoto station is a real plus. "

The hotel is located within a comfortable walking distance to the train and subway, as well as the wonderful Nishiki Market. Being able to do laundry was a great convenience! "We were 3 friends traveling and the room was huge we each had our own bed and lots of room for all our bags. We had come from Tokyo where there was not even room to turn around. The staff was helpful and a castle with beautiful gardens was across the street. I would highly recommend Noku Kyoto "
