"The Reception staff were very welcoming. We were given a basement room (102). The radiators had been left on max so the heat was stifling. There was one single glazed window that opened on to basement steps leading up to the road. It did not stay open by itself and it felt unsafe to have the accessible window propped open to reduce the temperature when we slept. The blind didn't have a mechanism to raise it, so there was no natural light during the day. There was a safe, but it had a low battery...
