Such a wonderful relaxing hideaway in southern Qld. So special staying in an old church. The whole experience was exceptional.

Overall, it was a very nice stay. The property is well maintained and in a peaceful location. There appears to be only a few cottages/rooms. The rooms are modern, plush and very comfortable. Some nice extra touches in the rooms. Nice, thick robes, good toiletries and also some self catering items (kettle, toaster, fridge, cutlery etc). Views were spectacular. Room was one of the nicest we have stayed. And that 100’s Pool area was lovely. In fact I can’t fault the hotel in any department

beautiful tree house, quiet full of character a fantastic stay and perfect for a getaway from the normal life you feel as if your a million miles away. Has some nice touches sparking wine and chocolates on arrival and the breakfast basket is a great touch all in all would recommend to anyone

Fantastic Location, Fantastic property but let down by a few aspects. Dishwasher had been left full of dirty plates, that had obviously been sat for a number of day's as they stunk. Bedding in one of the rooms had be soiled by some form of local reptile so housekeeping hadn't checked very well. We had a great stay, lots of amenities. Nice little touches like fish tanks and TVs in communal areas. Had everything you needed.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this character hotel. The staff were excellent and we enjoyed a good dinner here. It was a bit like stepping back in time but we really enjoyed that. If one is looking for upmarket sophistication then this is not the place, but this place more than made up for it in character in our opinion and we would not hesitate to repeat the experience.

I read the varying reviews on this hotel and I was a little wary but tbf we had no issues with the place. Yes it’s dated but it sort of goes with the wackiness of it all. Good sleep, decent room with a view, great breakfast and all within a reasonable price. The view from upper rooms are just worthy of * themselves. Don’t be put off by bad reviews the hotel is fine and cheap.
