"This was a unique stay that we enjoyed. The castle is still a work in progress so there is construction on the outside going on, but the price for a unique stay was good. We had a lovely room with water, monster drinks (that was different) fruit and treats provided. The bathroom is outside of the room. "The check in is painful as no check in desk. All online with tablets in entrance to hotel. We arrive early and complete the lengthy forms and was then told rom not available. We found someone and said you can’t check in till 3pm so would have to come back and do the whole form again! We did return and got the key but only one. This was not ideal as need to have one key for the electricity. So when you go for breakfast you phone won’t charge etc. when we got into the room there was cleaning items left in the room which was odd. The double bed had two single duvets. The lighting was awful and no large lights so the centre of the room was always dark. Overall it was clean and the bar staff in the evening were amazing. Breakfast was ok but €25 seemed a bit high for what you have. The last day we didn’t have breakfast but wanted a coffee before we checked out. The bar doesn’t serve coffee until 10am. The restaurant wouldn’t serve me a coffee only breakfast for €25! I was told you have a coffee machine in room but you need to have bottled water to use which wasn’t provided. The hotel was OK but left a bit frustrated and don’t think I will be back."

"We had a lovely big comfortable suite overlooking the cathedral. The hotel is in the centre and very convenient for shopping, dining, sightseeing etc. The reception ladies were friendly and helpful. The underground parking had many free spaces maybe because of its high cost of €32 per day. If you would like to avoid the traffic noise and tramps going past, must close the balcony doors, but it wasn’t an issue for us."

"This is my all time favorite place to stay in Berlin. Close to potsdamerplatz so there is easy access to food, shopping, transportation. I like the food hall in the Playce. Everything in walking distance. Even at rush hour, this area still feels manageable and calm. If you want a more dynamic atmosphere, you should stay elsewhere. The hotel is superb. Always clean and very modern. The staff are friendly and helpful. I like a clean modern aesthetic and this hotel meets this criteria at a very reasonable price."

"Would not recommend or return. Pros: adjoining family rooms, rooms were well-appointed and clean, and the pool and sauna area are great. Major cons: outside surrounding street was not welcoming or appropriate for a family. Advertised a/c but it did not work properly— we were ok with opening windows, however, the outside street life was 24/7 and loud; in the entry the carpet was dirty and light fixtures covered in dust; front desk staff was not welcoming, however the cleaners were always pleasant."
