Top Fuji Hotel Reviews
Hakone Kowakien TEN-YU
"Amazing experience in all aspects of our stay. The staff were very friendly and attentive, onsen experience was very enjoyable and the food choice/quality at dinner and breakfast was excellent. Our room with the open air bath was also brilliant. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Hakone in the future."
HOTEL MYSTAYS Fuji Onsen Resort
"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mystays Fuji. The room was nice, very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. There were so many choices and everything was delicious. True to its name, the hotel also has an Onsen, which I was looking forward to trying. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to use it because I’m not comfortable being completely naked. I do wish the hotel would allow guests to wear a towel from the dressing room until entering the water, or provide an option for guests who may not feel comfortable being fully nude in the bathing area. I also wish we had been able to see Mt. Fuji from the hotel, but unfortunately it wasn’t visible during our stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Mystays Fuji. The cleanliness, comfortable room, and especially the excellent breakfast made it a great experience."

"The hotel was relatively modern, kept in good order and had a lovely rooftop deck. The staff were very kind and it was very convenient that they spoke English which I wasn't necessarily expecting. They didn't include many amenities in the room and there was no place to get amenities except at the front desk which was closed in the late evening and early morning. It would be nice if they maybe had a little amenities counter that they left out overnight because I didn't investigate which amenities were included in the room until after the desk was closed and then I needed some things that I couldn't get. I appreciate it that breakfast was included but there were very limited options that were preset and you had to schedule your meal time ahead of time which I found kind of stressful. But that might also just be a cultural difference. I think it would be more friendly to different dietary restrictions and perhaps less logistically difficult if they just had a few self service items people could course from. They were willing to accommodate my food issues which was appreciated. These are minor issues that were really more about my personal preference than anything else. It also did seem a little more pricey than other similar properties I stayed at in the area. Although the rooms were a little larger and the property was a little more updated. It's a lovely property and staff were great. Totally a fine place to stay in the area especially if you don't have my same preferences."

"If you don’t book here, you are missing out big time! Worth the travel, worth the money, and worth the whole trip."
Highland Resort Hotel & Spa
"We chose the hotel as we wanted to visit the Fuji-q highland theme park. It’s a perfect location for this, right next door. Checkin was straight forward. Room was nice and clean, good shower and toiletries. Room had a view into the theme park. Ate breakfast and dinner in hotel, both were good. Lots of choice and reasonably priced. The breakfast room had an excellent view of Mt Fuji on clear days. The hotel also has a free bus outside to get to other locations. We used it to get to the lake and ropeway area. The bus took us to the station where we joined the hop on / off bus lines."
Hotel Mt. Fuji
