"Close to the railroad station. A person should know that the rooms are about 10’x10’ in the main area. The bed was comfortable. The bathrooms are about 3’x4’. The one piece fibreglass kind you would expect in an RV. The onsen or hot spring is enclosed, its about 7’x10’ and about 2’ deep at the deepest. I thought when it said natural hot spring that it would be in a natural setting. Shows you what I know. A person should also know that Japanese culture feels that a person should not wear bathing...

"Best view of Mt Fuji on their rooftop patio - WOW just press R on the elevator after the 5th floor. Place is dated but damn for the price and location you can't beat it. The staff were so helpful and kind too. "

"Staying at Numazu Club was magical. It truly felt like a hidden gem. The stuff was very welcoming and made every wish possible. My financé proposed to me on the last night in the private dining room in the old tea house. It will be a place that will forever stay in our hearts. "I liked the authentic look and theme of the onsen. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Really enjoyed my time there and the culture. Shame it was just for one night. Oh , P.S. if you intend to use the onsen, you are expected to be in there totally nude, and washed clean before getting in. Sure it's a bit weird of a custom, but worth the experience."
"Large clean room. Great view of Mt. Fuji and a lot of things within walking distance. Also very nice of them even after you checkout that they will hold onto your luggage. If you are going to hike Mt. Fuji the bus stop is right out front. Such a pleasant experience. "
"Recommend this property. I stayed in a riverside room. The private onsen was perfect and hearing the river water flow was very relaxing, plus the river colors are surreal. The breakfast buffet had lots of options between western and Japanese cuisine. "
"The hotel is gorgeous and perfectly located near Togendai station. Accessible by public transport, it was easy to get to from Tokyo.
The rooms are perfectly suited for short stays but could be stretched for 3 or 4 days and still be super comfortable. Plenty of Instagram worthy photo opportunities, sensational breakfast and dinner.
Staff are constantly helpful and wonderful. My only issue was 2 nights wasn't enough to catch everything that Hakone and the surrounds had to offer.
