"Our room was clean. It was close to the beach. I went for a walk every morning and the property was close enough for me to walk to the beach. The area was safe and close to the main beach area and a couple of restaurants. The staff was nice, friendly, and helpful. "

"Everything worked out fine. The beach was within a short walk and could be seen if you sit on the walkway/balcony. Just remember, the older retro motels may not have elevators if you have knee or back problems.Check in was very pleasant with a sweet young lady making sure everything was explained in a friendly manner. "Leticia at the front desk was fantastic! I had a health related attack on the way back from Atlanta and we decided to stay at the Ritz so I could rest. We stayed at this Ritz on our honeymoon over 30 years ago, had my 50th birthday party at Salt with guests for a weekend, stayed there for our 30th wedding anniversary and had dinner at Salt also (I highly recommend Salt), stayed many holidays with our children and friends, car shows, and it is still such a wonderful resort. You cannot go wrong staying at this beautiful resort. We have loved it for over 30 years and hope to keep going there for many more years to come.
