We loved the feel of the place...light and contemporary decor. Stunning views and lovely pool to lounge by. Fantastic location and we visited Vinci and San Miniato (lovely restaurants) really close by. Of course went to San Gimignano and visited Lucca which we loved! Hotel highlights...breakfast and pool. The dining room is beautiful and I would have quite liked to have part of it as a lounge to grab an evening drink and relax whilst enjoying to view. Light lunches available in the daytime...

Our stay at Villa La Capella was nothing short of perfect. The two owners, Paula and Anthony, were both such incredible individuals. I have never experienced anything so warm and welcoming during my travels. The hospitality they provided went above and beyond what anyone would expect or could ask for. This property is probably every persons fantasy about what a villa would be like in Tuscany , so comfortable and beautiful in the meandering hills. The pool was lovely and quite breakfast superb and the staff friendly and helped in every way. I really would say this villa excelled all our expectations Thankyou for a lovely stay

We stayed at the Hotel David for four nights. The staff are welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The cleaning staff did an invisible but excellent job, leaving our room immaculate every day. Our twin room was spacious, with ample storage space, and a large shower room off a small hallway. The bed was very comfortable. There a wide variety of food for breakfast, including fresh fruit and freshly made pastries and cakes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind the 15-20-minute walk...

A lovely spot for relaxation .The appartments were lovely and comfortable .the only criticism was you do need a car to get any where. It is totally in the middle of nowhere.

A friendly beautiful hotel

we would live here if we could. beautiful family run place, far more care and attention to every little detail than you would ever expect in even the very best hotels. beautiful grounds set in vineyard and olive groves, resident animals, fantastic restaurant onsite and lovely staff. the setting is so beautiful that one afternoon we got back to our apartment to find people taking selfies with our apartment door. our one suggestion would be to designate one of the pools as adults only as it did...

A great place to stay for 3 days. It’s a bit older and shows in the room, particularly the shower head but overall it was value for money.

I hope to return to the wonder Sant'Lario! I really enjoyed the warm hospitality, the variety and quality of home cooking at breakfast, quaint and romantic setting, the enchanting walk to the pool through forest trees and past a field of sunflowers, the clean and spacious room, the location (an hour from Florence and close to beautiful villages such as Volterra and San Gimignano) and the luxurious touches that made the holiday for special e.g. Seating area overlooking Sant'Larrio vineyard...

This was a delightful place to stay with stunning views over the vineyards. What we enjoyed most of all was eating our evening meal with the family who are 4th generation wine makers. They were extremely friendly and welcoming and their home cooked meals were delicious. It's a good place to stay as a base to see Florence and other places all easy to get to by car. Can't wait to go again!

This was everything that we hoped a stay in Tuscany would be. The property is Iocated in a stunning location, the kitchen was well equipped and the whole apartment was clean and full of traditional charm. We had a meal in the attached restaurant that had a varied menu and the food was delicious.
