"Had a great time at Holy Sheet Hostel. Stayed in an all female dorm which was clean and pretty big. The sitting room with TV is a great place to meet other guests. The bathrooms have a toilet and shower all in one which was a different experience for me but I managed. The breakfast was filling and the staff were great. "All of the staff were very very kind and helpful to me and my mother.The hotel is in short distance to the pyramids and some shopping, however it is a tourist area, so the hotel can not control everything. Not too far from the hotel there were children peddling which can be uncomfortable, however you also should come with an open mind. Every country is not the same. This hotel was a good choice and I have no regrets about staying. "

"Cecilia Hotel is incredible! It is a great location for a great price and the rooms are clean and comfortable. But the best thing about Cecilia was the amazing staff! I came to Egypt for a study abroad semester, and I was really scared being in Egypt by myself as a young woman, especially since I had never left my country before. "Good downtown location, just minutes away from Egyptian museum. On the 15th floor of an aging building, with good views. I stayed in an ensuite room - clean, if not much space. Bathroom looked fairly new and was clean. Balcony doors don't close well and provide poor insulation - a lot of noise coming from outside traffic and a lot of cold in winter. They provided a heater thanks to which I got through the night fine. Staff are nice even if not all speak English - Radwa does and is very helpful....

"Extremely worn out building. Paint etc peeling from walls. Wood floors were very worn. Would not stay there again. On the bright side the staff was extremely helpful in meeting me at the Giza train station and transporting me to the hotel."
