"The hotel was quaint and cozy stepping inside. The interior was very outdated. It was quiet. No major issues except breakfast was very cheap. You filled out a form of food you wanted (very limited) and you pick up your bag at the front desk in the morning."

"We were pleasantly surprised at the gorgeous 1864 built Victorian mansion converted into a beautiful venue with all the amenities you’d expect from a hotel and some you don’t always get such as snacks in the lobby. The beds are comfy, the shower is huge and the rooms are so well insulated that we didn’t hear any hallway traffic or our neighbors. It was a short drive to the concert venue that brought us to town plus Old Sacramento and the capital grounds and dining venues. Now I’m trying to come up with reasons to go back there! "
