Absolutely loved our stay here in Dervio easily the best and cleanest place we stayed during our tour of Northern Italy. The B&B had a great authentic Italian feel to it, full of character and charm rather than feeling overly modern or generic.
Location was perfect too, very easy to find, only a short walk from the train station, and then only a few minutes down to the waterfront and lake. Ideal base for exploring the area.

Great communications ahead of our stay, and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. I really cannot compliment them highly enough. We were even shown into the breakfast room early on our last day and were able to take a packed breakfast for our journey.
The breakfast was varied, and the restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The service and food were always excellent.
The setting is perfect, right on the lake.

Everything was wonderful. The hosts were very friendly and told us all about the villa and its history. The place is very authentic and cozy. We had a great time!

Good base to explore but set back a couple of streets from the lake from whence it takes its name. No lake views as a result. Breakfast was limited for us, but we are vegan. Staff able to provide soya milk. Overall. we had a fantastic time.

The view down Lake Como from our room (No.29) was nothing short of breath taking. The staff where very very helpful and in the main spoke English (if your Italian is limited) food was very nice and reasonably priced. If you are a keen cyclist they cater with their own bikes and a workshop area. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. A bed was provided for our 12 year old son as we requested, so catering for families doesn't present any issues. The Jersey Mob

Had the perfect stay at Hotel Garni Corona and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to come to Lake Como. In my opinion, it is in the best location with only a short walk to the ferry and bus stops. Not as busy as Bellagio or Varenna and proved to be the ideal base location. Plenty of restaurants, cafe’s and gelato spots right next to the hotel. Would highly recommend the room with the lake view!

Nadia was a fantastic host!
We unfortuantely had the worst weather of the month, but it was great to have a large room we didn't feel we wanted to leave. The Private Bathroom was huge, and the shower was AMAZING.
As long as you have a car there are plenty of places to visit from here, 45min to Lugano (Switzerland), and its nice to drive around the lake through all the towns.
Close to Menaggio, and the greenway walk. Easy to get a ferry to Bellagio, and other towns.

Me and my wife had a one night stay, traveled from Milan. We enjoyed a walk along the lake (which was right next to the hotel), there was a market on (Tuesday's) and plenty to see etc. We relaxed by the bar with a few drinks and watched the world go by. There was a swimming pool but we didn't use it. The evening was spent at the hotel, dinner was excellent and room was very comfortable.

This place is a hidden gem in a typical Italian setting 5 minutes walk from Vezio Castle in the hills above Varenna ferry port.
Rita the host and Kirsty are the most helpful and friendliest people you could ever meet and absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them to do for you. The walk down to the ferry is quite steep on a cobbled trail but only takes 10 to 15 minutes and walking back up is a little more challenging especially after some wine and pasta down at the lovely restaurants in...

Staff were helpful and friendly, we used Google translate a lot. 10 minutes from Colico by Taxi (don't rely on the bus), where you can get the hydrofoil to other areas around Lake Como. Fantastic underground parking. The food in the restaurant was lovely and great service.

When you walk into the courtyard at the Palazzo you know you are somewhere special.
Arianna is very welcoming and speaks very good English. The La Vista room we chose was simply amazing. Six big windows letting the light stream in and giving us fantastic views out over the Lake. The room was beautifully decorated and furnished and was spotlessly clean. The Palazzo has a lot of history and this is explained in the very useful information book in the room. The hotel has a private deck area right...

I had an amazing experience at Al Molo 5. The breakfast with a beautiful lake view was truly unforgettable, and the hotel itself is super clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay.
I recommend coming by car, as there isn’t much within walking distance, but the on-site restaurant is excellent — great food, very romantic atmosphere, and the whole area is quiet and peaceful. Overall, a wonderful place to relax. Highly recommended!

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location with amazing views over Lake Como.
We were allowed to drop our bags off as we arrived before check in. When we came back to check in our luggage had already been taken to our room. Rooms are spacious and modern and very clean and the view is amazing.
We had dinner first night and the food was great - especially the risotto!
We woke up the next day after a really bad storm and unfortunately the damage to the road outside was extensive. Land slide...
