"Stayed here for a night prior to a cruise. Family room was great size. Staff were all great abd very helpfuk. Breakfast was standard buffet breajfast, something for everyone, fresh and hot. Would stay again if we take another cruise from Southampton "
"The staff is EXCELLENT at the check-in, bar and the restaurant. Everyone is very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. The only complaint is that the carpet in the room needs to be cleaned, other than that it was great."
"We had a one night stay between cruises. The front desk receptionist, Carly greeted us upon our arrival and gave a few options to do while we waited for check in. We checked in but I room wouldn't be ready since we got there around 11am. We were able to store our luggage at the hotel and walk to mall that is very near. Had lunch and did some shopping. When we returned, a room was available for us early. Would definitely stay here again in the future. "
"Clean, quiet and comfortable.
Loved the Manor House/main building, which has an interesting and quirky history, dating back to the 1600s.
Rooms are basic, a bit dated and located separately from the main building - now a conference centre - and are a complete contrast to the lovely 17th century features of the manor.
Room was also quite hot as there is no air conditioning.
Staff were welcoming and friendly. Check in was very quick. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine overlooking the grounds.
It was perfect for a one night stay to avoid the hassle and expense of parking in nearby Winchester, where we were heading the next day.
Would stay again. "
