I liked the location of the hotel,the room was standard size and was very small and the manager said all the rooms were the same size which was not true as I saw the room directly across from my room and it was bigger. The staff was very friendly, the food was bland.

Parking was difficult and cramped, plus they charged extra for parking. The first meal we had was pizza which was not what we expected, quite greasy, breakfast buffet was good with lots of options. Room was fine, pretty clean.

First time staying at a Holiday Inn but can thoroughly recommend this one in Portsmouth. Only staying overnight before getting the ferry but wished we could stay longer. Managed to do some shopping at Gun Wharf & enjoy the surrounding area. All within easy reach to hotel.

Very convenient for places we wanted to visit. No need to use the car. Car parking charges were very reasonable. There was a lack of information and signage regarding the location of the swimming pool which was eventually found in the attached gym.
