"Front desk staff were excellent!! Room extremely clean and comfortable! Breakfast was excellent and attendant was so friendly! A little bummed the pool was not open, but would highly recommend the property!!"

"It's all great, as far as i'm concerned, but one has to know in advance what sort of place it is. It's a mosaic of rustic on the outside, elegant/modern on the inside, quadruplexes, with classic LPs and a turntable in the room. There's no restaurant, fitniess room, etc.. (which their website makes clear.) i loved it, It's in the heart of the village. You'll want to walk to everything, which I enjoyed. When I was there, I couldn't find a place for breakfast the Wednesday morning I left; everything was closed (the second week of June). But as i said, the website is accurate and I enjoyed my stay very much. I was there just one night, on a wander through the Hudson Valley and Catskills."

"The halls and room were adequately clean but in need of an update. The front office was not very inviting. The bathroom was gross. Dirty walls, broken tub drain (Laying on the side), poor lighting. Worst of all was the ceiling in the shower. poor repair with A HOLE STUFFED WITH PAPER IN IT. Would not stay there again or recommend it."

Overlook Hotel

"No front desk at the Overlook. Check-in is electronic. Managers were very responsive to a couple of issues that arose such as hot water issue, a very complicated shower and a smoke detector battery. Very convenient park at your door concept and room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was modern and nice. Our room was actually two rooms, each with a large bed, which was a surprise. There were no closets in either room. One room had a wall-mounted clothes rack. The place is new and areas are under still under construction."
