"Excellent for bush lovers "

"Basic safari hotel. Institutional catering. Unfortunately, the Safari vehicles were worn out and very uncomfortable. They had not replaced the shock absorber which made the drive very uncomfortable. Convenient to Cape Town, but clearly not the right bush for giraffes which had their heads permanently bowed due to lack of any trees."

"Only had time for a 3 day (2 night) safari trip but Ezulwini made it completely worthwhile. They bent over backwards to accommodate any request and took care of every detail. The game driver and tracker were very friendly but also professional, we would recommend this lodge to anyone from kids to seniors."

"You’re right on the edge of the best reserve in the area & the game drives are all on the Shamwari Game Reserve. These are better than we ever expected & our ranger/guide, Cillia, was the best! Daniel at the Lodge managed everything for us & was always there for our needs, nothing was too much trouble & he ensured everything ran like clockwork. Cynthia was brilliant, always smiling and calm, Ntombi was also excellent and helped us with our questions about local culture. Overall superb!"

"What can we say this place took our breathe away! Such a beautiful setting with the accommodation set right amongst the natural surroundings of how these animals should be seen. The staff again like at Tsala in Plettenberg were amazing and can’t do enough to help you during your stay and after too. The guides are extremely knowledgable and welcome all questions and make you feel very comfortable and at ease during the game drives. For anybody wanting a unique safari experience with game animals...

"Property was nice and relaxing; the Elephants at the pool were amazing. Food was good but a menu should be provided at dinner given you order your main course at lunch, and by dinner time you have forgotten what each course is. A couple of times I didn't like the dessert, and if I had had a menu I would have realized and not had the dessert, and therefore not wasted food. Housekeeping may need to be more diligent with the mosquito net as it's opened while guests are out on their morning game...

"They suggested what tip we should leave each person which was far beyond a tip, more like paying the staffs wages. Made our stay uneasy"
