"This hotel is way too expensive for what you get. Same quality hotels close by for half of the price."

"The roof was a concrete room and very dated furnishing. The bed was not comfortable and the lighting was poor. I couldn't stay the night here."

"Fantastic helpful staff. lovely small property . I would not hesitate to recommend this place to my family and friends ."

"An excellent location, and a wonderful pool. Good price, and a small, cute place. What was not so good, was our experience checking in. We had booked a garden room, but apparently these were "fully booked", and we were given a lesser room with a street view (a noisy street). We tried to explain that this was not what we booked, but they insisted it was the same, and that the two garden rooms were not available. We could switch the next day. That was fine, but we did not want to pay full price...

"Nice beach front location. Relaxed friendly staff. Good food, bar and pool. Had a great stay."

"very friendly staff especially Dimuthu. Lovely owners. Right on the beach. Restaurant food fantastic."

"Mirissa is a popular area 3 hrs south of Colombo airport. Bed was comfortable. The property was down a narrow alley on a rocky no swim beach. The pool was green, in need of a good cleaning and Chem treatment. The towel rack in our room was broken and the shower pressure was 2/10. The staff were pleasant but ill equipped. For the price we expected much more."
