The property is the perfect base to relax, indulge in retail therapy or sightseeing. The daily breakfast was delicious, many cooked options to chose from and you order the night before for a time slot of your choice. Old style Balinese hotel, well maintained. Staff are super friendly and helpful and any requests actioned immediately. Beautiful beach, comfy sun loungers. A peaceful and tranquil hotel right in the centre of north Sanur. Would definitely choose this hotel again without doubt.

We recently stayed at Angel House Eco Villa, and it was the perfect peaceful retreat just 10-15 minutes by car or motorbike from the center of Ubud. The villa is incredibly clean and surrounded by a beautiful garden, with a refreshing pool that became our favorite spot to relax. Just back from a week's stay at the Royal Santrian and it was fabulous! Our villa was huge, and the outdoor sitting area and private pool just made it perfect. Cannot fault the resort for anything, the staff were all very friendly, ensuring that everything was to our satisfaction every day. The food was first class, we ate there all the time it was so good! A very peaceful and relaxing location, ideal for couples. Had a lovely massage at the Spa too.

We spent 4 days here. If you want privacy, this is the place to come - you have your own villa (with walled garden, deck and plunge pool), the "room" service is great. You'll have your breakfast on your deck (monkey situation permitting) or inside the villa. Talking about monkeys - the name "Monkey Forest" is not there for marketing only. What a thoroughly perfect stay. From the stunning setting only minutes away from the centre of Ubud, to the beautiful and well maintained property this was a memorable and truly enjoyable stay. The staff offered a genuine and very thoughtful professional service throughout and the small open kitchen turns out the best quality dishes for every tastes that are delicious and very well priced. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Ubud. Thank-you!

Fantastic stay at this property. Lovely spacious, clean rooms & Sudi the owner was so kind & helpful, giving us lots of information about where to go & great places to eat. Great pool and the gardens were so peaceful & beautifully maintained. 2 lovely puppies also frequently visited 😊

Wonderful place, excellent location but away from main street, just a short stroll to shops, bars and Sanur beach. Superb room,very friendly staff, good choice for breakfast. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing place -- so much more than expected. Staff were extremely friendly and service was second to none (bringing breakfast to the room etc, and it was delicious). The villa was huge, as was the pool, and absolutely beautifully done. nothing quite like waking up with a pool at the end of your bed in the sunshine ! The hotel's shuttle/free taxi to Sanur was great, available whenever needed and unlike some hotels it ran until 11pm giving plenty of time to have dinner and drinks out.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early February. What stands out about this boutique hotel is the total attention to detail. It is rare that the pictures displayed on a website match reality. But the reality is actually better. Staff are vigilant and yet not intrusive, often offering free ginger water while we lazed by the pool. The Southern area of Bali is quite built up and everything is cheek by jowl but the hotel is close enough to the chaos to be able to enjoy it and then step back into the peace and calm that the hotel provides. The beach is just a 2 minute bike ride away. (The bikes are provided by the hotel for free). A fantastic place. Outstanding service on all parts. Very quiet and calm place. Perfect for just relaxing. Beach is quick 5 min where the hotel has its on small part. No problem getting sun beds at all. One restaurant within the area with a very very nice a la carte breakfast. Highly recommended. Anusara luxury villas are undoubtedly one of the best places I have ever stayed. We were booked into a honeymoon villa with its own infinity pool and views into the vegetation behind. The property is surrounded by rice fields and very secluded which was just what we needed.
