"We absolutely loved S&A Vondelpark, our room was on the 3rd floor and the building is so full of character while still having every amenity needed. The common areas and fireplace downstairs are very nice, the staff are friendly and the location is outstanding - vondelpark, cafes, restaurants, shopping are all so.convenient. Will definitely go back. "

"The location is fabulous. The hotel is a little tired and our room was very small - but we weren't there to stay in our room! The breakfast was great. I highly recommend and would stay at the Rho Hotel again."

"We got to check in a few hours early which was amazing. The room was clean and very stylish with a view of the canal out front. The lobby has a very convenient area to purchase snacks, drinks and sundries. The only cons were the main entrance is a bit tricky to find at first (it is oddly hidden) and the elevators could take some time to arrive when the lobby gets busy."

"Excellent breakfast buffet. Room was spacious and clean. Beds comfy. Would stay again. Only thing is concierge could be a little more helpful and knowledgeable as concierges are supposed to be (eg know dinner places and have other suggestions for things to do)"

"Absolutely great place to stay. The vibe was good; rock ‘n’ roll, 60s and record memorabilia. BUT there’s no elevator which we knew when we booked it. But we are in our 60s since seven days and we’re on the fourth floor and it was a very narrow and steep spiral staircase. Really didn’t like that, but most of the staff was awesome and it really is a cool vibe."
