"Got to the hotel and they made excuses that first the electricity in the 3 rooms we booked were not working and then that they were no more rooms left. They then took us to another hotel that they arranged for stay, which was terrible, toilet didn't flush, hot water for bathing was sparse and included breakfast was abysmal. Couldn't call anyone at 7pm and didn't have long distance to call Expedia. Also contacted Expedia by email and no one returned my email. I'm so disappointed in Expedia as...

This is a wonderful hotel in an excellent setting with great facilities and a very attentive team. 5 star service. The amravali suites are very nice. However the hotel does seem to attract quite annoying guests, the north Indian middle classes who are crude in their behaviours. They are rude to the staff, loud, the restaurant is treated like a roadside dhabba, they are in the pool fully clothed with grown adults throwing around frizzbies like it’s a children’s water park. They made registration easy where they came to me at the coffee shop to sign in the food was incredible and the chef came out to see me.
