"The pool was closed right in the middle of the day on Friday for maintenance. Who does that? The pool was the reason I booked there. Very disappointed. Not very good planning on your part. Also, I have yet to receive a copy of my invoice by email as promised. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The staff were so lovely and helpful! Helped me out upon my early arrival , and an all around great experience. I'm already planning a return trip for next year for an even longer stay. Next door is a , sometimes, loud dance club featuring live music. My views of the Gulf, the accommodation, definitely made up for a bit of loud(and sometimes excellent!) live music. I am going to return. Actually, I should've probably kept my yap shut to keep this treasure to myself!"

"This was our first time staying here and unfortunately it will also be our last. My wife and I were only in town for one night because the place we usually stay had no availability that weekend. To start with the positives, the location for our purposes was ideal. It’s close to the mall and near Raymond James Stadium, which made getting around very convenient. Unfortunately the room had several issues. The AC barely worked and the room stayed hot most of the stay, especially before sundown. The bigger problem though was the sewer smell. Both the hallway and the room had a very strong sewer odor that made it hard to stay inside. We actually went to the mall and bought concentrated room spray from Bath & Body Works just to make the room bearable. Parking is also a nightmare. The spaces are extremely tight and if you leave in the evening, forget trying to find a spot after about 8 pm. There was also no coffee maker in the room, which was surprising for a Hilton property. The bed and bedding were comfortable, but even service was disappointing. We asked housekeeping for an extra towel for an early morning shower and were told they could not assist."

"Pros: the room was recently remodeled, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. The two staff people we had contact with were both polite and as helpful as they could be with what they had to work with. Cons: The hotel was under a facelift (inside and out), so it was a really bad presentation (my wife asked me when we drove up, "Didn't you check the reviews?"). A number of things were blamed on the remodeling going on (no Wi-Fi and none of the TV channels working. There were almost no amenities--one set of towels in bathroom; no coffee pot in room or lobby. In the morning, there was nothing offered as a breakfast option except for a coffee pot (only regular offered) that didn't seem to be plugged in, so it wasn't hot. There were other minuses, but you get the idea."

"Everything was wonderful regarding the cleanliness, staff and quality of the hotel. The room was larger than most king rooms with a table and chairs, small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The outdoor bar/restaurant had friendly staff with specials and poolside service. All in all a really nice hotel. "

"It was a very nice experience. I was greeted in the lobby with champagne. The room was spectacular, comfortable, and clean. All the living areas were very nice. The views were extraordinary. The beach lounge chairs are not included; you have to pay extra. This contradicts what the Wikipedia website said about them being included. I didn't particularly like the hotel restaurant, but everything else was spectacular."
