"The property is well maintained & rooms are very clean & welcoming. Beds are comfy. Make sure to try the continental breakfast bar each morning. Pool cabanas are a plus to have a little bit of shade and the servers are excellent. The rooftop bar is a must! The service is excellent, food is great and you cannot get a better sunset view. The staff at this location is wonderful. They go above and beyond and the cleanliness of the property is wonderful. Also want to recognize the security taken to keep you safe inside and around the property. The security measures that they provide make you feel extra safe during your stay. Pool towels are provided. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash is provided in each shower. The city view balconies are fantastic!"

"Hotel is good, staff is friendly and the location is phenomenal. In-house restaurants are meh... We could not sleep properly during the entire stay. We were on the ground-floor, next to one of the door leading to the Pool. And it used to be noisy until past midnight, there was no enforcement of quiet hours. Guests used to scream outside our room all the time, even at night. Inside the hotel wasn't any better. There were conferences in the hotel every single day, and loud noises could be heard late into the night. The noise isolation in the rooms was terrible. Parking is $30 everyday, even for the guests staying at the hotel. Public parking in downtown Clearwater is $20. Parking should have been free or at least subsidized for the hotel guest. Even the beach chairs and umbrellas are charged at $45+taxes per day. All these micro-transactions add up if you are staying for a while at the hotel. Pool is small, and not much recreational games or activities for kids. Best part of the Hotel is its location and access to a pristine white sand beach."

"Do a resort day pass . Super easy check in for chairs and there was even an ice machine and a restaurant on site . Beach chairs were set up nicely and parking was free for the day pass . Server was super super nice !! Loves the 80s rock music playin and didn’t ever want to leave the nice comfy chairs in the grass at evening and saw the lovely sunset in the soft sand like no otjher !!! "

"My two day stay at the Sand Pearl was kind of mixed. It is in a great location, the staff and service were very good. Food was just average. In general, the grounds and major traffic areas of the hotel were good, but compared to other places that I've stayed at in Clearwater, St Pete, or other beach front locations, there were a few things that they could do better with. In general, the room itself had a few issues, and comparatively speaking the quality was less than with other hotels. They charged $45 per day for parking, which seemed higher than necessary, but they charged for it, because they can get away with it, so they did. There were other little things, that they could have done better with. I don't mean to be picky, but I was starting my day, and went to go turn on the TV, and the remote didn't work. There was a wrap around the remote indicating it was "cleaned", but it was missing a battery. Just a few examples that I didn't run into at other high end hotels. So, again, kind of picky, but again, comparatively speaking I have stayed at other hotels/resorts that charged a comparable rate, where they did a better job on the "little things". Just in general, it seems like their management should take a step back, and really decide who they want as their primary customer base. Currently, there just seems to be a conflict between whether or not to cater to families with young children, people getting married on site, or other considerations."

"Had 1st floor room near pool. Balcony did not have the best view of the gulf. Mostly the parking lot. Nice pool area with hot tub. Really nice deck with views of the water. Good selection of walkable restaurants nearby. Liquor store and market across the street. Safe area to walk even at night. Hotel next door has lot of music thumping late into the night. Awesome views of the sunsets. Will probably stay here again. "
