"We had a fabulous time at the Bridges B&B. Lesley was the perfect host, so friendly and helpful we immediately felt it was home from home. The interior was like a boutique hotel, beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished. It was very comfortable, Steve and Lesley had thought of everything. The breakfasts were also excellent, Lesley went the extra mile to ensure I had something suitable for IBS. She really was so thoughtful and we really appreciated it."

"Value is OK, but the kitchen was always dirty, kitchen foor look like we're never clean. Always dirty dishes, dirty pots, dirty glasses, etc. Room was comfortable, bit put together with old furniture. For the cost, I guess is OK, but a little scrubbing goes a long way specially the kitchen. Or just keep kitchen out of the offering."

"Our stay at Burnhopeside Hall was one of our most memorable ever. Christine, our hostess, was delightful and helpful. The room was spacious and the surroundings could not have been more grand. This is a stately old home, full of beautiful furniture and dishes, near sheep pastures and the river. "Great room which was plush and spotless, great hosts who were friendly and attentive and a great location to walk into the town for an evening bar meal, a short walk to the coast and beach or for sightseeing in the area. Breakfast was superb. Will certainly be returning. "

"We stayed here as it was close to the wedding venue we were attending and didn’t seem too expensive. Easy to find and park park at. Check in was easy and the room was spacious and I was grateful for the kettle and teabags/milk and use of hairdryer and ironing board. The downside was the bars downstairs. We were at the front of the building right above the hotel bar and both Friday and Saturday night I struggled to sleep til the partygoers left at midnight. I had the windows shut and the blinds...
