"Staff were amazing! Helpful and friendly. Can arrange airport transfer for you. They all spoke English very well. There is a common area downstairs with a bar and free filtered water and lots of plugs to charge your electronics. The bunk beds were a little scary, very unstable. You only get two sheets and a pillow case so if you get a free blanket on your airline keep it! There is one plug in each bed spot. Rooms are air conditioned. It was a little expensive for a shared room with bunk beds but...

"Arrivée prévue tôt le matin, aucun accueil... Avons dû attendre 2h30, seuls... Pas même un verre d'eau.. Hôtel assez vetuste, chambre pas spécialement propre, eau chaude quasi absente. Notre départ a eu lieu à 6h30, dans les mêmes conditions que notre arrivée... Avec en plus, les coups de feu de l'armée qui effectuait une descente dans la favela située juste au dessus de l'hôtel... (La casa Mosquito est au bas d'une favela dite" pacifiée"). "

"I had a tiny private room with an even tinier bathroom. Had I known how small and bare bones my accommodation would be I probably wouldn't have selected it for a 5 day stay. However, it was clean and within walking distance of the beach and other landmarks."

"Fiquei hospedada 4 dias no hostel. Apesar de ele ficar no alto de uma ladeira, é bem próximo da praia e do metrô. A questão do consumo de bebidas alcoólicas poderia ser melhor. Como avaliam dois mercados na rua, eu pretendia comprar cervejas para deixar na geladeira coletiva junto aos meus mantimentos. Mas fui advertida que não poderia armazenar nem consumir bebidas que não fossem compradas no hostel. Isso me frustrou bastante."
