"We love staying at the Oaks. Staff is always efficient and helpful. This time we were given a room in what seemed like an older section of the hotel. Could only get there by going up a couple of dmsll sets of stairs. Seemed to be at a far end of the property. Although we were given an upgraded king room, the room was under furnished and needed a refresh. Have yo say we loved the bed."

"Only thing good about this place is the location and cleanliness. We went here for our honeymoon. We did not feel welcomed at all. The staff need to learn customer service skills. 2 staff members talking loudly in the hallways in the morning, woke us up. We left early without receiving any of our money back as we hated this place so much and had to forfeit one night’s stay. Had to stay somewhere else. We chose a room with a jacuzzi that didn’t even have warm water. Could not even use it. We were offered the cheapest pair of slippers for $5 plus taxes each. Our bed was not even properly made. Thanks for absolutely nothing. Will never be back and word of mouth goes a long way. Terrible experience. Luckily, the other place we stayed was able to salvage the rest of our honeymoon. "

"There was a group staying at the hotel that hired their own private security. There were several security people all over and it didn’t make me feel safer it was intrusive and changed the vibe of the weekend. Love the hotel, didn’t like our experience this weekend."

"The buffet breakfast was amazing! I loved the variety : ham sausages, waffles, potatoes, eggs etc etc. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Yelta at the front desk was very courteous and helpful. Perfect location - just a few minutes walk to the attractions and the falls."
