My main concern was the lack of ability to come and go without having to make contact with the property manager by phone, with the possible roblem that they were using their phone and consequently couldn't respond promptly."

"There are numerous easy going scenic walks to be enjoyed at this location which makes the stay at Ash Farm worthwhile. Our room and especially the bathroom was clean, well appointed and quiet with a garden view. Our only qualm was that the breakfast incurred and additional per person charge. Being a retired couple our breakfast requirements were minimal. However, this resulted in the most expensive charge for a boiled egg and toast I have ever encountered. "Easy to find, 14 minute walk from Chester Station. Shops and plenty of food places to buy food for lunch and dinner and restraunts close by. I spoke with Claire, she was lovely, helpful and made me feel very welcome and at home. I highly recomend Maison Claire. I would definitely stay again. "
