"Absolutely fantastic ! Clean, the room was lovely and well air conditioned, tidy and the staff were only happy to assist and the food choice in the restaurant not only was exceptional but suited my partners dietary needs beautifully Me and my partner spent the morning in the pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna and that was beautiful helped us relax our achy bones from the previous two days we had once again the staff member could not do enough to advise us on where to go made sure that we had towels and everything we needed What I will say is that one visitor was Absolutely out of order as we was leaving treating the desk staff with utter disrespectful behaviour making a scene I will say that the staff should be commended for the handling of that situation and I will say that should never ever happen to them We will be back to visit 10/10"

"I had such a pleasant welcome when I arrived after travelling for several hours, and only to find out I'd be granted a free upgrade to my room. The room itself was lovely - full of character and wonkiness(!); my only critique might be that it could really build a bit more warmth with some artwork on the walls. The bathroom was great with everything needed and the bed was huge and super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and very generous in portion size - I had the scrambled eggs with salmon and a gluten free option on the toast. Thanks for a great stay - will be sure to book again when I am this way again for work."

"Only there for the night but comfy bed blackout curtains. Only downside the room was hot as there was no aircon/broken probably due to the excessive heat thats been around, but there was a fan which helped. Breakfast was buffet style so cant complain as you get what you want. Overall good experience."

"Small lodge with good/close access to Hemel Hempstead Train Station, and good connections 30 mins from London Euston that run an hour or two past midnight on a weeknight, check in was simple, a quick phone call to the number posted outside Reception to get a code for a key box, and that was Check-in sorted. The room was well presented and well maintained, nice style of room, a mix of old a new gadgets in the room (Old style radio attached to the drawers and Corby Trouser Press, with Wi-fi and a TV also available, as an example when I say a mix) Usual selection of hot drink options ready in the room, next to a list of details and information that I'd need to know about my stay, including check-out, breakfast and other amenities (Laundry, Breakfast times etc) - the breakfast included was a Continental Breakfast (which I didn't have as I missed the window, which ended at 9:00am) - but a paid, cooked breakfast was also available if I would have wanted to go for it. Bathroom was a wet-room with plenty of rails and specialist equipment for people with physical disabilities/mobility issues (shower chair, red emergency pull cords etc.), soap, shampoo and shower gel provided, with 2 fresh bath towels, and a floor mat towel ready. Overall, a nice cosy stay in a place with good access to London **without** needing to drive into any ULEZ zones and incurring extra charges, and free parking while you stay - I recommend this hotel to people who want to stay & visit North/West London"
