The overall experience was amazing, very friendly staff

From the moment we arrived everything was very smooth. We arrived 2 hours before check in time and they still checked us in, our villa was clean

Great room, very nice beach. It is a bit far from Pattong(30 minute taxi ride) but it is not a real problem. I particularly like the fact they drive you directly to your room and process your entrance there. Very efficiently

Have just returned from a 6 night stay at the Anantara and it exceeded our expectations in all respects. I think the Thai people are one of the nicest peoples in the world and when combined with the superb service at the Anantara, it is a recipe for a marvellous holiday. The staff really were fantastic - they couldn't have been any better. I think for a short stay of up to a week or so then the Anantara can't be beaten - for a longer stay I might possibly choose one of the hotels further...

Great hotel

From the moment I was picked up from the airport in the hotel car, handed a chilled bottle of water and given the wifi password for the car the luxury simply drenched me. The welcome at the hotel and my luxurious room were amazing. Breakfast staff greet you each morning, usually remembering my room number ( which is more than I could!) and that begins the day of calm and chill. Whether basking poolside WOW or on the beach (100 meters away) the hotel keeps on looking after you. The two beach bars...

I'd heard some great reviews about this place and they are all pretty accurate. The rooms are good size, clean and well kitted out for the price. The best thing is the staff - very friendly and helpful, and there is a shuttle bus that will take you to where you want to go in the area. Night market and Tesco local, Bang Tao beach which is stunning is five mins by shuttle or 20 minute walk. Wifi is excellent and they can do laundry if you need or you can wash in your room and hang outside on the...

This is our third visit in three years. The best features are the private pool villas, breakfast and wonderful staff.

The minute you leave the road you are transported to a beautiful calm oasis. The cottages are lovely and decorated in hues of grey. We were lucky enough to be one row back from the beach so did not have to face the steps. The staff were friendly and always smiling. The hotel is situated on a lovely beach which felt private. The food was excellent.

Only downside to this property is the fact that I only had 2 nights there!!! Superb!!!

Everything about this place is simply perfect. Anyone who chooses to stay here is sure to have a wonderful experience and will leave with nothing but happy memories and perhaps a little sadness when it’s time to say goodbye. Truly, it’s the kind of place you won’t want to leave!

Great accommodation, quiet not like some of the big hotels. Manee and her staff do everything to make your stay comfortable. We upgraded to a pool villa room which we loved it, room was large, huge bathroom with a seperate bath and shower. The room was spotless and quiet. Pool was a bonus, Bangtao beach is only 10 min walk and is beautiful. You can use the sun beds belonging to the bars & restaurants at charge of 200 Bart each.
